MODELS OVERVIEW

The two models behind CheeseWagers

Motives and xGoals do not say the same thing. The first describes the structure and behavior of the match. The second measures statistical market pressure and scoring probability. Together they give a cleaner picture.

Motives

The Motives Model organizes matches into narratives, profiles, and clusters. It is not only asking who is favored. It is asking what kind of match this really is.

  • Base Profiles for the overall story of the match
  • Secondary angles for a more specific betting view
  • Stats tab and Cluster tab for deeper reading

xGoals

The xGoals Model reads markets, segments, and confidence through statistical production and expected goals. It does not describe a narrative profile. It describes probabilities and market ladders.

  • Top market recommendation for each match
  • Open panel with multiple market projections
  • Stars, confidence, and market depth
xGoals

How they work together

Motives tells you what scenario seems to be in play. xGoals tells you which markets are statistically under pressure. When those two align, Match Explorer and the AI layer become much more useful.
